Mater Early Learning aims to continue to bring awareness and build stronger connections with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community within and around our service. Our ongoing goals are to educate and assist all Teachers and Educators in the ongoing promotion of inclusive practices and to ensure these practices are embedded into our everyday programs and curricula.
Mater Early Learning continues to maintain our safe spaces, our connection to the true histories of the nation and cultural responsiveness within our service. We continue to nurture our reciprocal relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders and community members to foster significant partnerships. By doing so, this will maintain and build on our meaningful inclusive practices and inclusion of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community into our service.
By continuing to gain and build on knowledge, understanding and partnerships with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, Mater Early Learning endeavours to strive for valuable lessons on traditions, true histories and an appreciation for the cultures of First Nations peoples in Australia.
