Little Gems Childcare and Early Learning Centre prides itself on the championing of inclusive practices and actively acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the Land on which we operate. Little Gems continues to develop and implement our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) to further improve relationships between the non-Indigenous and local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, demonstrating a strong commitment to the goal of reconciliation.
Little Gems Childcare and Early Learning Centre believes that it is the responsibility of all its staff and all Australians to support and champion reconciliation and to acknowledge the difficulties suffered by Australia's First Peoples since colonisation. Little Gems also acknowledges the strengths and resilience of First Peoples and hopes that through our Centre’s contributions and commitment to reconciliation we will contribute to a greater future for First Nations Peoples with greater ties and understanding between all Australians.
