Here at Goodstart Early Learning Clayfield together there’s no limit. We respect the Land we respect the Turrbal People, incorporating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives authentically into daily practice and being active members in the local community. We respectfully embed First Nations perspectives into our daily practices and programs, strengthening our connections with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. We believe in striving for a reconciled Australia and raising awareness of the true histories of this nation in our Centre and wider community. We actively acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, their diverse cultural values, languages, traditions and active continuing contributions. We continue to work towards bringing together all peoples in unity and respectful engagement to ensure we act against racism and discrimination within our Centre and the wider local community, teaching and modelling for the children valuable life lessons along the way. Building on our reconciliation journey thus far, it is our hope to set an example of reconciliation, with a focus on equality and equity, for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families, staff, and the wider community.
