Our vision for reconciliation is to embrace Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people’s cultures and respectfully embed cultural learning opportunities for all children, which will enhance children's knowledge and understanding in a respectful way. As an early education centre, we strive for all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children to participate in quality early childhood education. Further, we will work with non-Indigenous educators, children, and their families to value Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures, and histories as part of our national identity. To are committed to building meaningful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the broader community to create a stronger, inclusive future for Australia. We need to recognise and value our diversity and acknowledge the past to achieve true reconciliation. Through being culturally responsive, we want to provide a greater focus on cultural safety for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people in our wider community.
