Our vision is to actively acknowledge the unique connection that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to Country. We strive to build and maintain genuine, respectful relationships with all children, families, educators and wider community members. We are committed to continuing to develop a deeper understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ways of knowing and learning. We embrace the responsibility to educate our younger generation in the importance of looking to the past to understand and respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures and heritages and our shared history since colonisation. Through truth telling and relearning our history, we can come together in hope and perseverance for the future. This understanding is expressed through a daily acknowledgement of Country which acknowledges Elders past, present and emerging. Connecting us all in unity to pay respect to Land and Country births our collective ethos for a united future. Wominjeka Wurundjeri Balluk yearmenn koondee bik.
