The journey to reconciliation is one we must all take together. We must learn, walk and yarn together with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members.
Our RJCC community commits to valuing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures, acknowledging Australia’s true history and recognising the continuing impact of Australia’s true history on First Nations peoples. RJCC seeks to respectfully engage with the voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families and community members.
Through story sharing, collective learning and breaking silences we aim to create a culturally responsive space where all community members can connect with each other.
We value inclusivity, belonging and reciprocity, with these values underlying our vision for reconciliation at RJCC and in the wider Healsville community.
