Here at Goodstart Kangaroo Flat, our vision for reconciliation is to maintain and nurture a community that is educated and respectful of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories and cultures by respectfully embedding First Nation peoples’ perspectives into our curriculum. Through this curriculum we will provide opportunities to educate the staff, the children in our care, their families, and the greater community of reconciliation, and allowing future generations to move forward together, towards a reconciled Australia.
We will work as a team to strengthen relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, embrace their ways of learning, and show respect for the Country in which we are, the Dja Dja Wurrung Country.
