Woodend Goodstart’s reconciliation journey began with our first ever Welcome to Country in 2022. It heralded a process of learning experiences highlighting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures through the inclusion of First Nations languages and perspectives. Our commitment to reconciliation is motivated by our belief that all children, staff and the Aboriginal and Torres Islander community and wider community are united in their understanding of the need to build meaningful relationships and develop long term connections.
