Fifth Avenue Child Care and Kindergarten Service recognises the importance of respectful and trusting relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as part of a united Australia. We acknowledge that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' cultures, histories, perspectives, and achievements are fundamental to Australia's reconciliation journey and shared pride and actively seek opportunities to share this with children. We continue to support educators to strengthen their knowledge and understanding of First Nations peoples and how to respectfully provide environments and programs that support the wellbeing, education and care of all children accessing our service, in particular Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families.
