Goodstart Glen Huntly

VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Goodstart Glen Huntly acknowledges the reciprocal relationships needed to understand and promote reconciliation between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and other Australians. Our vision is to build respectful and restorative relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples

We are committed to engaging children in rich learning environments in which they can respectfully learn about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures. We will provide rights based (anti-bias) approaches to learning to accommodate an equitable education system in which every child may see themselves reflected in practice and curriculum.

We strive to promote connection to community and Country and, will continue to communicate our respect for the Traditional Owners of the Land on which our centre stands.
