Goodstart Vermont - Canterbury Road South

At Goodstart Early Learning Vermont Canterbury Road South, our vision for reconciliation is to respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ histories and cultures within our practices and throughout the whole service. This will involve providing culturally responsive learning opportunities amongst our educators to ensure that this is done respectfully and in a meaningful way that furthers reconciliation in our learning community.  

As a service, it is important that we respect and value the diverse cultures that make up our local community, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures, and we will endeavor to further our own education about this cultural diversity to ensure that we promote an inclusive and respectful environment where each stakeholder feels valued. We will continue to create strong positive working relationships with the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation within our community.
