Goodstart Bundoora- Plenty Road’s vision is to continue to respectfully embed reconciliation actions into everyday practice, building knowledge and meaningful connections with the local First Nations community, and providing an environment for all children to explore, learn, and build strong, respectful understandings of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultural values, beliefs, customs, and histories. Our educators commit to continue their professional learning to better educate our children in turn, sowing the seeds of respect, unity, and historical acceptance. Nurturing these seeds and seeing them grown into young community members who recognise and respect the histories, cultures, and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as part of our shared national story and identity, is central to our vision for reconciliation.
