Our early learning service recognises the continuing connection that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the Country on which we live, work, learn and grow. Jellyfish Child Care Centre (JCCC) strives for a diverse and inclusive learning centre where our educators and children will learn about and respect the histories and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ contribution to the economic, social and cultural life of Australia. JCCC will enhance awareness and respectfully embed the rich cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people throughout the service. We will continue to develop and strengthen relationships with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members. These relationships will be built on mutual respect, mutual trust and inclusiveness.
