Here at Captain Bligh Early Learning Centre our vision for reconciliation is to acknowledge and value the connection of all Australians and the richness that is brings to our service.
We respect the unique connection that the Darug people have to the Land on which our centre is situated and aim to create respectful and genuine partnerships and relationships with all of our children, staff and families who attend our service as well as those within our local community.
Our vison is a future where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives are explicitly seen throughout our service and where Aboriginal and Toress Strait Islander people are widely recognised as being the nation's First People who are knowledgeable contributors to Australian education through the wisdom Elders hold.
We believe as early childhood educators we are setting the foundation for our future generations to be educated and embrace Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures in Australia.
We would like to contribute to creating a service where all feel a sense of belonging and can develop a strong sense of Community and Country.
We will continuously work on contributing to reconciliation ensuring that all children's cultures and histories are acknowledged, understood and reflected throughout Captain Bligh Early Learning Centre.
