VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Goodstart Griffith Sanders St acknowledges reconciliation as coming together as one in our commitment to equality, equity, and social justice for Australia’s First Nations peoples. Supporting children to be culturally responsive citizens through respectfully teaching about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ histories and perspectives. We will, teach about the importance of equality and equity, acceptance of the cultural diversity and contributions of First Nations peoples through our daily practices.  Goodstart is committed to building community partnerships based on mutual trust and respect with First Nations peoples. We  ensure that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families, children and visitors feel valued and connected to our service and have their perspectives respectfully included in our daily curriculum.  We respect and value the insights of First Nations peoples as we establish strong links between Goodstart, children, families, employees and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities with whom we work as we deepen our understanding of Wiradjuri culture
