Macquarie Child Care Centre

VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Macquarie Childcare Centre, Reconciliation means equality and equity, acknowledgment of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders’ histories and cultures, respect for the Land where we live. By implementing the reconciliation initiatives, Macquarie Childcare Centre aims to reach the goal to build relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, invite them into our classrooms to work alongside our children and raise awareness and knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures through our program. We wish to create a connected community that welcomes all its members and values Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures.   Our vision is a future where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are acknowledged, respected, supported and celebrated.
