At Westlawn Preschool, we acknowledge and respect the Bundjalung people as the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which we grow, learn and play.
Our service has a genuine commitment to providing an inclusive environment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, whilst also educating children, families, and members of the community on the importance of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait peoples cultural beliefs and traditions in connection with the Early Years Learning Framework.
We respect and embrace First Nations cultures and their diverse beliefs, and aim to continue our positive relationships with First Nations children, families, and community members using a supportive and inclusive approach.
We will continue to reflect on, and add to, our Reconciliation Action Plan to ensure we are moving forward and working collaboratively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the wider community.
It is our mission to instill in all our children, families, staff, and the wider community an acceptance of, and respect for, all First Nations peoples and their diverse cultures and traditions.
