VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Cambridge Hills Preschool, reconciliation means raising children to be knowledgeable and aware learners of our history and coming together to create a truly equal and equitable nation.

We aim to achieve this by embedding a more visual representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures into our service and ensuring children recognise and are aware of our history and what we can do moving forward to ensure the rights of Australia’s First Nations

 Peoples  are not just respected but championed in all the places that matter.

We believe that the children motivate our commitment to reconciliation and giving them the knowledge and power to create a society which values all people and builds strong relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and non-Indigenous Australians to create a harmonious, safe and trusting Australian community.

Our children are the present and the future and we believe are the best teachers, our children can talk and share knowledge with their families and communities to help embrace unity between all Australians.
