Bankstown Montessori Academy

VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Our vision for reconciliation at Bankstown Montessori Academy is to enrich, enlighten and to further educate all educators, families and children within the centre. Educators, families and children will take this opportunity to develop a strong sense of understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and ways of life within our education program. We value diversity within our service and, for this reason, we will provide and plan experiences that broaden children’s, families’ and educators’ perspectives and encourage them to participate, whenever possible, in connecting the home, the centre and the community. This RAP will be attached to and implemented alongside the weekly planning to eventually form part of our Quality Improvement Plan.
