At Happy Faces we create a space where educators seek out ways in which Western and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledge systems work side by side. This will continue to improve outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and fulfill every Australian child's right to know about Australian's First Nations histories, knowledges systems, cultures and languages. We are committed to seeking assistance through respectfully engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on how to embed perspectives into the philosophy or our centre, our planning and the implementation of our curriculum.
