Just For Kids - Castle Hill

VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Our vision at Just for Kids is to facilitate learning with the children and staff about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and how to demonstrate respect for their histories, cultures and contributions. It is our responsibility to promote reconciliation between non-Indigenous Australians and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We acknowledge the wrongdoings of the past and will work with children, families and communities to change the present and future treatment of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We will build partnerships with our local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. We believe in respect, equity and equality for all. We as educators will continue to gain knowledge through on-going learning which we will pass on to our children and their families. Our service welcomes everyone, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families, community members and employees to become part of our family.
