Kids' Early Learning Blacktown City Kings Langley South

Our vision for reconciliation is to ensure that the EYLF and Reconciliation are embedded into the daily program in meaningful ways.

We would like to ensure that educators and students are comfortable in linking between the EYLF and reconciliation and that

educators are able to establish strong relationships between the EYLF, and reconciliation is meaningfully embedded in their everyday learning environments.

We are committed to ensuring that individual children’s personalities, temperaments, interests, social-emotional needs and aspirations, strengths and learning styles are reflected and inclusively incorporated in our curriculum. Children are unique and influenced by family traditions, cultural backgrounds and the community that they belong to.

Therefore, it is vital to maintain mutual trust, understanding and respect with families and communities – including our local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community – to create a positive social environment to make a positive difference in each child’s life. We endeavour to build collaborative relationships with families to ensure that learning is linked from home to the child care environment.

Linking / networking with the community is an important part of the children’s learning as it enriches their lives and broadens their experiences as participants. We will also continue to show an active appreciation for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander heritages and continuing contributions  and will ensure that caring for Country and valuing the uniqueness of Australia’s vegetation and wildlife is supported and nurtured in our daily program.
