Little Zak’s Academy South Wentworthville

Our vision at Little Zak's Academy South Wentworthville for reconciliation will begin with our Acknowledgement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People as the Original Owners and Custodians of Australia. We acknowledge the value of education through the children, families and educators about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples, cultures, values and histories.

As our centre philosophy states "We work with families to effectively and respectfully build relationships, where inclusion is embraced, into the children’s learning and participation. We embrace the diversity of families and the wider community and pay our respects to the Traditional Custodians of the Land –  Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples."

Through ongoing commitment as a service, an organisation and within the wider community, we aim to achieve continuity whilst working closely with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People in our community. Our vision is to ensure that this not only helps shape our practices, but allows children, families and educators to be more culturally competent.
