Reconciliation is about building partnerships and engaging with Aboriginal communities, organisations and individuals so that we can learn from each other as we work to build a more respectful, equitable and socially just nation.
Our vision for reconciliation is to foster children’s motivation to learn about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures and perspectives to build a future generation that respects and embraces the traditions and customs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. We aim to do this through engaging children in authentic and engaging culturally appropriate learning and practices that is embedding in daily practice and through meaningful engagement with community.
