Mt Barker High School

VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

We at Mount Barker High School, we believe that, for there to be true reconciliation, a deeper understanding of a truer histories of Australia must be grasped to truly move forward into a better future, where equality and equity is experienced by all Australians every day. This will be achieved by strengthening our relationship and connection with the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which our School stands, the Peramangk people. We are committed to embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives and knowledge authentically throughout the curriculum and demonstrating our respect for Aboriginal histories and cultures through the school environment that will be shared with students, staff and the wider school community.
