Our vision for reconciliation includes recognizing and respecting the histories, cultures and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as part of our shared national story and identity.
Our school will continue to reflect this by ensuring that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students are at the forefront of our teaching practice and are provided with a platform to share their culture and perspectives. We will continue to embrace our commitment to reconciliation by making sure that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures are celebrated, embraced and visibly taught to all students, staff, families. We are committed to providing a place that embraces reconciliation within all aspects of our school environment by fostering genuine and meaningful two-way relationships between non-Indigenous Australians and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Reconciliation is not optional but necessary for future generations and can be more beautiful than any victory. We are committed to respectfully strengthening our relationships by acknowledging and respecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, cultures and rights.
