VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At St John Bosco Catholic School, our vision for a reconciled Australia includes joining and bringing together Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and non-Indigenous people in order of acknowledging the pain and loss experienced by Australia’s First Peoples since colonisation. We endeavour to promote an understanding of the action of reconciliation in order to move forward together, to openly see and improve how we, as a country, view, treat and accept Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Further to this, we aim for our younger people to respectfully gain a deeper understanding of, and pride in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.
