Our vision of reconciliation is built through embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures respectfully into our everyday pedagogical practices. We strive to educate all children truthfully and honestly about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ histories, cultures, and perspectives.
We provide children the opportunities of continuous learning and understanding through acknowledging the shared histories of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous people as we look towards a more united future.
We promote the respectful, equal, equitable and genuine celebration of diverse cultures. We build and maintain strong connections and respectful ongoing engagement with Darumbal people and provide children with the opportunities to authentically learn about Darumbal traditions and knowledge.
We acknowledge the children and families that identify as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and seek to respectfully include their voices and perspectives into our programme and practice.
