Beaumaris North OSHC understands that reconciliation between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous people is the responsibility of all Australians. We recognise the importance for all children to value and learn about First Nations cultures, histories, and perspectives and believe that early education is a pathway to a reconciled nation. Our vision is to promote a learning environment that acknowledges and celebrates Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures, and perspectives as a united community. We understand our journey towards advancing reconciliation is one of continuous learning and are committed to actively working to deepen our cultural awareness, knowledge, understanding, and respect for Australia's First Peoples through discussions, training, research, and responsiveness against barriers such as racism and discrimination.
