Reconciliation is in action at St Joseph’s Catholic School, Mount Isa. Our vision is to continue enlivening and strengthening our understanding of First Nations peoples of Australia.
We see reconciliation as treating and being treated with equality and equity. We acknowledge our school as a multicultural community, and we embrace and treasure what each individual brings to our school and acknowledge the particular place and significance of First Nations Peoples. We see and encourage a reconciled school and community every day.
We acknowledge and celebrate the First Nations heritage of Australia through respectfully sharing and experiencing activities and events within our school and Mount Isa Community.
