Integrating the Cross-curriculum Priority Key Concepts: Country/Place, Culture and People

overview

Who We Are: Brave New Clan is a series of short films developed by Reconciliation Australia in partnership with CAAMA (Central Australian Aboriginal Media Association) Productions and Foxtel that explore the key concepts and organising ideas of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Cultures cross-curriculum priority (People, Country/Place and Culture). Three films titled People, Country/Place, and Culture feature six exceptional young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who share stories about their communities, histories and cultures in contemporary Australia. In this session, use the films to help staff think about how they might integrate the key concepts People, Country/Place, and Culture into their teaching and learning areas.
