Then and Now: Reimagining the Land on which we Live and Learn (Secondary)

overview

In this activity, students reimagine the land on which their school stands and craft a creative response through poetry. It is very important to acknowledge that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and cultures are strong and continuous, and have not vanished with the passing of time.

This activity was created by Matthew Nogrady, English teacher at Telopea Park School in Canberra, ACT.
